Description

A day of taking pictures of the dogs a few weeks ago. lol
This is Xena, she is a Chow-German Sheppard mix, and is a complete and utter spazz. She is my baby. :3

She's nearly five years old now, and we adopted her from Pet Land when she was six months old, where she was for nearly three months after being rescued from living off the streets.

When Onyx, our lab mix could still see, they'd play fight, then Xena would take off running, often slamming into doors, walls, etc, then taking off again as if nothing happened. She likes to hide under desks, sleep in corners, and pretend to be a lap dog, lying across my computer when I work on it.
She sheds non stop, we shave her during the summers usually to keep her cool since her coat is so thick, and she mopes around the house for days. It's so cute. :3
She doesn't like to have her picture taken, and she has to be told several times to "go eat" before she actually does it. Her nest is right next to mine in the corner next to the spot on the couch where I sit.

She's named Xena because she's survived being hit by a car, having canine parvovirus, living on the streets, and waiting to be adopted for three months under the loving care of the workers of Pet Land, who were at the time, students in my Dad's classes at school.

She coos when she yawns, and when she stretches, because of her formerly broken leg, she "ballerina stretches", stretching her leg out behind her in the air.

Recently she had a UTI, and is still having some trouble with not going to the bathroom in the house, but she's slowly getting better.

When we try to get her to do tricks, she does all of the ones she knows at once, because she doesn't know the commands for each one. She spins, we call it "tornado", rolls over, then tries to shake with both paws at once, stretching them upwards. :3

Oh, also, when we first got her, it was just after her surgery for her leg, so she ran on three legs, and was still faster than our other dog. She could also clear a three foot fence, often escaping the yard, returning to the front porch, until one day she got stuck between the fence posts at the top, and Dad had to get her down. :)

So, there's some stuff about my dog and what she's like. More pictures to come. :)
